A tearful farewell to good friends

We bade a tearful farewell to Rod and Jacque Tieszen and family at the all-age service this morning. They’ve been part of our church family for about 9 years, and have made a substantial contribution to the life of the church. Rod has served on the diaconate on two separate periods; Jacque faithfully organised the email prayer chain. In that time we have also shared the joy of the arrival of their daughters Gemma and Rose. Rod’s work has taken him to Nottingham, to where the whole family is now moving. We pray they will soon settle into a new church. They will be greatly missed.
